The Blue ROV2 is a compact, easily deployable electric observation-class ROV. Measuring only 18 inches long, 22 inches wide and 16 inches high (with accessory skid), this compact powerhouse is small enough to fit in tight submerged spaces. The highly maneuverable vectored thrusters on the Blue ROV2 make it capable in open ocean currents. The heavy configuration, with four vertical thrusters, provides a very stable platform for an assortment of tooling options. Rated to 300 meters, this ROV is well suited for a variety of jobs.
To date, Advanced Marine’s Blue ROV2 has been used for environmental cleanup projects, USCG large documented vessel hull surveys and deep water intake inspections. This ROV is ideal for construction diving support, underwater observation, non-destructive testing and light salvage.
The Advanced Marine system is currently configured with a 1080p color camera, a Tritech Gemini 720ik multi-beam sonar, a Tritech Micron scanning sonar, a Blue Robotics Ping echo sounder and one (1) single function grabber.
