The Truckee Meadows Water Authority Fleish Flume, Overflow and Tailrace Replacement project, completed in mid-2019, was nominated by Construction Materials Engineers, Inc. The CME write up, which contains many interesting details about the project, can be read here.
The Fleish project received the 2020 APWA award for Historic Restoration or Preservation Under $5M.

Working as a sub-contractor for Q&D Construction (Sparks, NV), Advanced Marine was responsible for completing the Tailrace Replacement portion of the project.
Working in very challenging Truckee River winter conditions, Advanced Marine successfully rehabilitated the heavily scoured 100+ year old concrete foundation underwater, installed (2) new 50 inch diameter steel draft tubes, and helped to restore the hydroelectric facility to it’s designed output capacity.
